I’d like to think of myself as a professional procrastinator when it comes to my holiday shopping every year. On Black Friday and Cyber Monday, I have such great intentions but often don’t get to everyone on my list. I’ve always had a strong love for loungewear and cozy things in general, but being a mom has heightened that love to a greater magnitude than ever before. I spend a LOT of time at home, chasing after an army crawling baby where we pretty much rotate our day from room to room with a small outing (likely to my moms house or a quick coffee run) in between. So, what’s one to wear when they’re in their house all day? Slippers, sweatpants, yummy fleece hoodies, candles burning, music playing…you get the gist. And if you’re not a mom at home the majority of your day, then I’m certain you’re the type (or whoever you’re gifting is the type…) to swap their workwear for loungewear within minutes of walking through the door. Though Instagram may tell us most women wear high rise jeans to do housework and cozy up on the sofa with their dog and a book, I guarantee you that behind the screen, those ladies are snapping that photo and quickly diving right back into their leggings and Uggs. (I know that, because I used to be one of them, ha!).
